in the Fond Memories of Mrs. Yash Juneja

Yash Cancer Foundation is laid in the fond memory of Mrs. Yash Juneja who displayed undaunting courage and faced the cancer bravely till the very end. She was an extremely caring person and a nice human being and never complained to anyone about the disease. She was diagnosed as a case of Multiple Myeloma on being investigated for pain in arm. She never let her pain come in the way of delivering the duties of a wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She underwent treatment at AIIMs and many other leading Cancer Corporates. Though the disease was extremely aggressive and advanced at the time of diagnosis, she displayed exemplary courage and faced the unending ordeal of multiple chemotherapy sessions, radiotherapy sessions, stem cell transplant, and palliative surgeries with a smiling face. The side effects of cancer treatment had a deleterious effect on her body but they could do nothing to diminish her will power to fight and to smile and share the happiness with her family.
Her “Never say Die” attitude was so strong that she managed to gather strength to celebrate the birthday of her loving and caring husband even in ICU, just two days before her demise.

Though she left us physically on 10th of January 2012, but she remains etched in our hearts forever and we hope this is able to do justice to the spirit with which she fought the disease.
