Untitled-5Born and bought up in an average middle class Indian family Prof. Juneja went on to complete B.Pharma, M.Pharma and PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He then pursued his post doctoral research fellowship from 1972- 74 at Max Planc Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, Germanywhere he did research on Geno-toxicology and Chemical Carcinogens which was widely acclaimed. He has more than “60 research papers (national and international) published” to his credit. He became Professor in Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1984 and served as the Head of the Deptt from 1987 onwards.

He was member of Executive Committee Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE. He was also on panel for UGC and CSIR. His zest to work again brought him to forefront of academic activities and served as Director of Seth G.L. Bihani Institute of Pharmacy from 2001 – 2009. During his illustrious academic career he served at various institutes of repute like P.U. Chd, M.D.U. Rohtak and Seth G.L. Bihani College of Pharmacy as HOD and Director Principal. Even till date he is actively involved in various educational programmes and charity work. As he accompanied his wife while she was fighting with Multiple Myeloma as a husband, friend and professional, he realized that it was time to take his knowledge out of the educational institutes and put them to practical use for suffering cancer patients
